Citizens needing a police officer for an emergency should:
DIAL  9-1-1

Bath Township 911 logo

Our Communications Center employs both full time and part time Communication Specialists who are responsible for being the first link between the public and safety forces. Our dedicated team are certified by the National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatch and answer all 911 emergency, non-emergency, and administrative calls placed through the Center.

Communication Specialists use a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software to maintain all records and assist in call entries.  The use of the Ohio Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) provides pertinent information including local and national emergencies, as well as, driving records, criminal history, and warrant information.  Every member is required to maintain their EMD certification biannually for pre-arrival lifesaving techniques should they be needed before EMS gets on scene under the IAEMD protocols.

Our Communications Center dispatches for Bath Police & Fire Departments.  Other responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to, maintenance of warrants and protection order files, “We Care” senior citizen program, after hours contact for Township Roads & Parks Departments emergencies.  Dispatchers maintain contact information for local businesses in the event that contact needs to be made outside of normal operating hours.  To update your information, please follow the link below:
