CPR 5-2-2011 


Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) are taught at Bath Fire Department bi-monthly, excluding June, July and August. Both the Heart Saver/AED and Healthcare Provider classes under the guidelines of The American Heart Association. The courses are video-based and divided into multiple lessons. Many lessons are practice-while watching that allow students to view a video while practicing skills on a manikin. Classes are held at the Bath Fire Station.

The Fire Department has recently partnered with University Hospitals as their training coordinator.

9:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

All classes begin promptly at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. (unless otherwise specified)
Note:  A minimum of 5 students must sign-up to hold a class or it will be cancelled.
If you sign-up and your class is cancelled, you will be notified. 

Class Fees and Registration:
Residents or Employees of Bath Township:  $20.00
Non-Residents:  $45.00

* Please be aware of the following policies:

  1. Attendees must sign-up in person 2 weeks prior to class. Bring a $20 check; payable to Bath Fire Incorporated, for the book. Please read prior to class. 
  2. Non Bath Residents ($45 fee) should present a $20 check when signing up and bring the balance to the class. 
  3. The fees apply to all CPR participants. If a participant cannot make it to the class they have signed up for they have two options:

Attend another scheduled class
Wait and attend a future class.
