The Friends of Yellow Creek Committee has been discontinued as of January 1, 2025.
Resources will remain available for public education and conservation purposes.
Friends of Yellow Creek was tasked with protecting and enhancing the aesthetic, physical and biological integrity of the Yellow Creek Watershed through education, conservation and restoration.
Yellow Creek is a tributary of the Cuyahoga River in Northeast Ohio. It has been rated as one of only two high-quality tributaries of the Cuyahoga River, but it is also threatened by effects of development.
As described in the Mission statement, the Friends of Yellow Creek's aim was to help in the effort to preserve the good, remediate the bad, and educate.![[Original size] FOYC native wet area plants (46.5 x 36 in) (1) - Copy - Copy](Documents/Government/Boards and Committees/Friends of Yellow Creek/[Original size] FOYC native wet area plants (46.5 x 36 in) (1) - Copy - Copy.png?t=202604101405320)
