1.      Approval of the April 11th Regular Meeting Minutes

Goodrich, Jenkins and Nelson

2.      To amend the 2005 Permanent Appropriations to include the unencumbered balance of $5,265.91from the FEMA Radio Grant Fund (298).  Resolution 2005-21.

3.      Request approval of Requisitions and Regular Purchase Orders RG023632 through RG023712 and payments totaling $149,801.64.    Roll call.

4.   Correspondence, Boards, Commissions and Committee Logs.

a.)            Recommendations

·         To change the status of Substitute Part-time Firefighter/Medic Mike Lester to Part-paid Volunteer Trainee.

             

3.     Service Director John Peltier

a.)            Recommendations

·         That Randy Bowers continue as Seasonal Service Department Personnel at the hourly rate of $9.00, which reflects a fifty cents per hour increase payable semi-monthly effective May 17, 2005. 

·         To approve the payment in the amount of $17,280.00 to Cavanaugh Building Corporation for Ranchwood Road, Phase I. The $19,200 contract is ninety percent complete.

·         That Sean Humphrys be removed from a successful probationary period effective May 15, 2005 and be granted full-time laborer equipment operator status with all applicable rules and regulations, including a fifty cents per hour pay increase as adopted at the May 14, 2004 meeting.

·         To accept the road building renovation specifications prepared by T.C. Architects for advertisement and bid. The engineer’s estimate is $110,100, which includes a $10,000 contingency. Advertisement dates: April 29th, May 6th, and May 13th with a bid opening at 10:00 a.m. on May 25th.
