Bath Police Department's Safety Town

Since 1977, Bath Police Department has conducted an annual Safety Town Program aimed at educating pre-kindergarten children on safety practices.  Children are given the opportunity to participate in craft activities, story telling, instructional videos and play activities that are geared toward various safety topics.

Safety Town 2005 will be held from Monday, June 13 through Friday June 17 at Bath Elementary School .  There are two choices of sessions, the morning class will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and the afternoon class will run from 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.   Until maximum capacity is reached, parents can pick the session they prefer.

If you didn't get your registration form at Revere 's kindergarten registration, you may stop by the Bath Police Department at 3864 West Bath Road , call 330-666-3736 to have one mailed to you, or e-mail policesecretary@bathtownship.org.  Forms need to be turned in by June 3.

Safety Town is offered to children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall.  Participants need to be children of Bath residents or those residing within the Revere School District .  There is no charge.

Youth over the age of 12 may volunteer to assist with Safety Town .  Application forms for volunteers are also available at this time.
