On Monday, January 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Revere High School Auditorium, Bath Township and the Friends of Yellow Creek had planned to host an informative program about oil and gas drilling. However, representatives from the Division of Mineral Resources of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources notified the township on Friday that they cannot attend on Monday evening. The Division of Mineral Resources requested that the meeting be rescheduled so they can have their staff attend. A new date and time will be announced when other panel members along with representatives from Ohio Division of Mineral Resources can attend. Please watch for announcements.

Summit County has entered into an agreement with Direct Energy to provide a fixed rate of $5.393 MCF ($5.293 MCF for seniors 65 and over) from February 2012 through January 2014.

has voted and passed a redistricting of Summit County which will split Bath Township into two districts represented by two different council members. The Bath Township Board of Trustees has issued a position statement.
